Onze vaste bandavond keert weer terug in Helicopter! Deze keer met Silicå, Max Hell en There’s No Recipe. Ook komt DJ Herman Bosui het feestje nog leuker maken! Op 11 April 2025 ben je vanaf 19:30 van harte welkom, verkleden mag maar hoeft niet.

Our regular band night returns to Helicopter! This time with Silicå, Max Hell and There’s No Recipe. DJ Herman Bosui will put the icing on the cake. On April 11, 2025 you are welcome from 19:30. There’s no dress code, but you could put on a nice hat if you want.

Silicå

Silicå is a quartet from Amsterdam. Formed in 2022 as a group of friends with a shared passion for music. Silica experiments with a wide variety of genres, taking inspiration from grunge, post-punk and dreampop, but never sticking to one label. Silicå’s music is characterized by its catchy hooks and walls of sounds. The band recorded their demos in a rehearsal studio with 8 mics, an audio interface and a laptop. Their first demo “Hitting the Ground” is now on Soundcloud. The DIY nature of the band lends itself to the recording process and live performances.

Max Hell

Gruizige rammelrock uit de Amsterdamse indie-scene. Max Hell verscheen eind 2021 met oude en nieuwe vrienden op het podium en staat live bekend om zijn energieke optredens. Hell wisselt “pop met punkpoeder” af met plotselinge “schreeuwen vanuit de onderbuik”.

There’s No Recipe

There’s No Recipe creates guitar driven indie with some poppy hooks and melodies. Being a bit more on the heavy-alternative side of the indie-spectrum, they always retain a sense of artfulness and adventure in their songwriting. Frontman Ziko Schilte, who produces the music himself, gives a melancholic touch due to the dark tone of his voice. The band finds inspiration in bands such as Radiohead or Interpol but are mostly inspired by Bowie’s adventurous approach to music.
