The Wander Society is a semi-electronic duo from Amsterdam. Julius Geluk and Thomas Oerlemans met in high school, where music, as it turned out, connected the boys for life. The gentleboys lost sight of each other after high school – Thomas began an acting career and Julius went to university where he began experimenting with electronic music.
In 2010, Thomas founded avant-garde pop-rock band Party of the Mind. When this came to Julius’ attention through word of mouth, the two old friends reunited after years: The Wander Society was born. In 2020, they released their first album Wildlife. Now two years later the follow-up album has arrived: The Light, The Dark. The first single from this record We’re Coming Down was recorded (and filmed) on location: number 8 Helicopter Street. Performances to follow!
