As a tenant there is a certain degree of uncertainty and the question of how long you can stay always looms in the background. Fortunately, there is now good news for Helicopter’s existence: our contract has been extended for another five years! This means that we can enthusiastically continue with our mission to stimulate as much creativity as possible with our practice rooms.
We are therefore again busy coming up with new developments to take Helicopter to the next level with everyone who visits us. Consider improvements to the practice rooms in terms of insulation and equipment, expanding live options on our stage and connecting Helicopter with other creative places in Amsterdam. For example, last year we organized an event together with Cinetol and that left us wanting more.
With the great news that we can continue with Helicopter for at least another five years, we invite everyone to come up with ideas in the form of creative collaborations. Because where the Heli has come so far is largely thanks to all the people who use our spaces and enjoy the endless passion for live music together.
